Rarely does a presentation explain the mechanics of how to make money in the detail that the author provides. This is a very valuable acquisition for the modest price charged. The author's intention is to get you to apply the contents of this book instead of merely reading it.
Chad Mureta has really written an excellent book that takes you through the steps of developing an app from start to finish (well, whenever you "decide" to finish). The book is well written and has very good examples taken from the App store. His book is structured in a chronological order as his plan is layed out from the beginning where you will become an expert app user to the end where you use Ninja Marketing techniques to promote and monetize your app and move it up the ranks.
Chad has built a lot of apps and more importantly he doesn't have any app lotto winners like angry birds, draw something etc. He searched the app store found what was working and attempted to make a better app with a twist and better marketing etc.
App Empire is an awesome book that provides useful information and strategies to go from knowing nothing to developing a mobile application business that can sustain itself.
